Duties

- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when necessary.
- Supervise classroom assistants and support staff, providing mentorship and guidance to uphold high-quality childcare standards.
- Incorporate specialized knowledge in special education and child welfare to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Lead efforts in lesson planning for physical education, tutoring sessions, and other enrichment activities that promote holistic development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and instructional activities while ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
- Stay current with best practices in childhood development, early intervention techniques, and educational innovations such as Montessori pedagogy.
Skills
- Extensive experience in early childhood education with a strong background in classroom management and curriculum development.
- Proven ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Deep understanding of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and special education needs.
- Skilled in lesson planning for diverse subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare activities.
- Experience working with students requiring early intervention services or special accommodations.
