Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operations, as well as the ability to manage loads effectively while adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate a dump truck to transport various materials, including gravel, sand, and dirt.
- Load and unload materials at designated locations, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate loading and unloading activities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the dump truck.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
