Position overview
This position will work in our dough production plant located in Kettering, Ohio. Food manufacturer is looking for expertise in industrial refrigeration and is responsible for ensuring all production equipment is effectively operating at the desired levels. Interact with production personnel in a team atmosphere to achieve proper line rates and high-quality products. Assisting/training other maintenance personnel with repairs, PMs, and rebuilds. Collaborating closely with other departments and teams for proactive problem resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Performing installation and replacement of refrigeration system and associated equipment. Ability to perform charging, evacuation and pressure testing of a refrigeration system. Diagnose complex refrigeration and controls-related issues. EPA 608 or universal certificate (Preferred)

Ability to troubleshoot complex packaging and plant equipment, mixers, spiral freezers, holding freezers.
- Thorough understanding of Industrial controls. 480Volt motor control, 24VDC control wiring. Knowledge of frequency drives, plc logic, safety devices, Machine guarding, etc.

Mechanical skills to include Proper chain and belt tensioning. Bearing and sprocket replacement. Conveyor belt repair/replacement.

Fabrication and welding experience a plus.

Have at least 5 plus years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role/ environment.

Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial and motor controls preferred.

Comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending and twisting; lifting to 50 lb.

Ability to work independently.

Standard quality control and basic computer skills.

Knowledge of GMP practices and principles.
Work Environment

Work with machinery with moving parts; subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, operating equipment, and lifting of objects up to 50 pounds. Individual.

Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, and flow charts 3. Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
