Countryside Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT) to join our team. We are looking for a technician with strong skills in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional medical care to pets and their families.
This role is ideal for a credentialed technician who enjoys being an integral part of the surgical team and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality patient care from admission through recovery.

Monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures

Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-operative treatments and catheter placement

Perform accurate anesthetic calculations and maintain anesthesia records

Closely monitor patient vitals throughout procedures and recovery

Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed

Perform venipuncture, laboratory sample collection, and diagnostic testing
-
Educate clients on surgical procedures, discharge instructions, and at-home care

Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
-
Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care

Current CVT, LVT, or RVT credential required
-
Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience preferred

Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills

Comfortable with anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery

Proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration

Experience with dental procedures and dental radiographs is a plus

Excellent communication and client education skills

Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

Able to work efficiently in a busy hospital environment
