Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Composite Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and the ability to meet the responsibilities outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand detailed job instructions with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate records of material usage and out-life data
- Learn and apply vacuum bagging techniques and materials used in the production process
- Interpret drawings and schematics to determine layout, hole sizes, break lines, stiffeners, and final finishes
- Work within specified tolerances as per job instructions
- Learn and work with prepreg materials
- Identify and retrieve materials from freezers based on job requirements
- Learn and assist with oven and autoclave operation (start-up, shut-down, pressurization, vacuum lines, thermocouple hookups)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
- Adapt to shifting priorities to meet customer deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required (aerospace experience preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, job travelers, and maintenance instructions
- Basic math skills including algebra and geometry
- Prior experience with automated routing a major plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify used)

- Monday to Friday
