Position Summary
As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding dinner service by preparing and executing dishes with consistency, attention to detail, and care. You’ll work alongside a supportive kitchen team in a high-energy environment where teamwork, communication, and craftsmanship are valued every shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock your station before each service
- Ensure dishes are plated accurately and delivered promptly during service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area throughout your shift
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
- Assist with food prep, inventory, and proper ingredient storage as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Support teammates during busy service periods and contribute to a positive team environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Represent Thanksgiving Point’s mission, values, and policies in daily work
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques
- Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
- Current Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to pass a background check
