Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Countertop Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality countertops through precise fabrication processes. Responsibilities
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to cut, shape, and assemble countertop materials with accuracy and precision
- Use fabrication machinery such as saws, routers, and CNC machines to produce custom countertop components according to detailed specifications
- Handle materials safely using appropriate lifting techniques and forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Measure, mark, and cut materials including stone, quartz, laminate, or solid surface composites to specified dimensions
- Assemble finished pieces ensuring proper fit, finish, and quality standards are met before installation or delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the fabrication process
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and communicate any issues or delays promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environments involving materials handling and assembly
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation, machining processes, and millwork techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery such as forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Strong understanding of materials handling safety protocols and warehouse operations
- Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints accurately for precise fabrication work
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials safely throughout shifts
