Step into a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year, working with K-12 students in a supportive and collaborative educational environment near Douglasville, GA. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference, supporting around 45 students as they achieve their communication goals.
Starting August 3, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027, you'll work 37.5 hours per week across a standard 5-day schedule. You'll collaborate with educators and families, deliver evidence-based interventions, and develop individualized educational plans that empower students to thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure is required.
- SLP-CCC certification preferred.
- Previous experience supporting school-age children, especially K-12 populations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven organizational skills for managing caseload documentation and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students within a school setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Consult with teachers, family members, and other related service providers to ensure student needs are met comprehensively.
- Participate in IEP and other team meetings as needed throughout the school year.
