Overview
ClearBooks CPA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to support our day-to-day business operations while gaining practical experience in the accounting and professional services industry.
This internship is designed for students and recent graduates who are eager to develop professional skills in operations, client service, marketing, and business administration. As an Operations Intern, you will work closely with our team on real business projects, gaining exposure to the systems and processes that drive a modern CPA firm.
This is an excellent opportunity to build practical business experience while developing organizational, analytical, and communication skills in a collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Administrative Support:
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow across the firm.
- Support the team in organizing and maintaining digital records, client files, and internal documentation.
- Help monitor project deadlines and workflow progress using internal tracking systems.
- Assist with administrative projects that improve operational efficiency.
- Perform research and data entry assignments with a high level of accuracy.
Client Onboarding & Coordination:
- Assist with client onboarding by organizing required documentation and updating internal systems.
- Help coordinate client communications regarding missing documents and information requests.
- Support CRM updates and maintain accurate client records.
- Assist in preparing onboarding packages and internal checklists.
- Observe and learn best practices for delivering professional client service.
Marketing & Business Development:
- Assist in creating and scheduling content for Social Media platforms.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support business development initiatives.
- Track engagement metrics and prepare simple reports for management.
- Assist in organizing marketing materials and maintaining brand consistency.
Accounting Systems Exposure:
Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure to accounting workflows used by CPA firms, including:
- QuickBooks Online
- Google Workspace
- CRM and workflow management systems
- Financial document organization
- Bookkeeping support processes
- Tax preparation support procedures

Requirements:
