The Arc of Idaho is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to work at our Residential Home Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays 6am-9am (3 days week, 21 hours total). Location is in Boise's North End. This role requires driving our residents in our company van; applicants must have Idaho driver license and good driving record.

DSP’s work directly with adults with I/DD, assisting them in learning skills to become more involved in our community and increase their independence. Each day includes a variety of work and no two days are the same.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have Idaho Driver’s license and own vehicle insurance.
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire with no cost to the employee.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation with no cost to the employee.
Responsibilities:
- Working with program participants in their homes, the community and/or in our center-based program.
- Assisting adults with disabilities in achieving their dreams of independence.
- Medication Assistance.
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Safely transport residents The Arc Developmental Center in our company van.
- Overall all safety of residents.
