As a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will have the crucial role of leading a seamless operation and upkeep of our organization's physical facilities. Your role encompasses both maintenance and engineering expertise, ensuring that facilities remain well-maintained, safe, and energy-efficient while optimizing operational processes. In this role, you are responsible for the repair, maintenance, and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery, and their associated electrical components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose issues and identify parts for replacement; order parts as needed.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow detailed instructions and established procedures to complete tasks.
- Work independently or collaboratively as part of a maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, and LOTO/LTT protocols.
