Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to ensure safe handling of goods
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory movements
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
- Stock shelves and organize inventory using basic math skills to maintain optimal storage conditions
- Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying quantities and inspecting items for damage or discrepancies
- Utilize MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems) like AS400 to manage stock levels and order replenishments
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks or pallet jacks are highly desirable
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is a plus
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, picking & packing processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory management and order processing
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment safely
