B&R Machine, Inc is becoming a leader in CNC milling industry providing manufacturing solutions to an array of industries (commercial, aerospace, firearms and more) with more than 100 employees.
Growing manufacturing company in Ludlow, Massachusetts is looking for second shift Machine Operators at Entry Level. Willing to train if you have the commitment to learn for future advancements. We are looking for individuals with good work ethic, excellent attendance, and the desire to produce quality products.
Tasks include:
· Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
· Set up and operate machines, such as lathes, cutters, shears, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, or auxiliary machines, to make metallic and plastic workpieces, inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments
· Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications.
Knowledge:
· Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
· Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
· Regular attendance is an essential function of this position as irregular attendance and unscheduled absences would create an undue hardship to the business

Second shift hours are: 530pm-6am.
