Step into an impactful role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at multiple sites serving PreK through 4th and 8th grade. Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Connecticut SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Pediatric experience strongly desired
- Teletherapy experience a plus, though this role is onsite
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to travel between schools
- Passion for fostering communication growth in young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students from PreK through 4th and 8th grade
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication needs
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and adjust therapy as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other specialists
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Communicate progress and strategies with families to support carryover at home
