We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting. The CNC Operator will play a vital part in ensuring manufacturing efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance within our production facility. Prior factory or manufacturing experience is preferred, and familiarity with various industrial equipment is essential for success in this role.

Operate a variety of CNC machines, including CNC horizontal and vertical milling machines, CNC single- and twin-spindle lathes, and other machining equipment such as drill presses.

Set up tooling to specifications while ensuring proper calibration using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC equipment and industrial machinery to minimize downtime.

Conduct quality control checks by inspecting parts with GD&T standards and precision measurement tools to meet strict tolerances.

Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical documents to determine machining requirements.

Operate forklifts or handle materials as needed for materials handling or other tasks within the manufacturing environment.

Follow safety standards in production areas, including proper use of hand tools and personal protective equipment.

Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups, production runs, and inspection results for quality assurance purposes.

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum 1 year of Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC horizontal or vertical mills, CNC single- and twin-spindle lathes, or related equipment in a manufacturing setting required.

Basic to Advanced knowledge of Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and G-code a plus.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in manufacturing processes.

Ability to read blueprints and mechanical blueprints with proficiency. GD&T principle knowledge a plus.

Mechanical knowledge, including tooling setup, machine operation, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, is preferred.

Familiarity with precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators for quality control purposes.

Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements.

Strong safety awareness aligned with industry standards in production environments.
