ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Direct and coach the full-time and after-hours homebound services providers by assisting in the continuation of the educational program for students receiving special education services who are unable to attend school and/or class due to illness or injury.
2. Organize and supervise the pregnancy services for student receiving special education services in collaboration with CEHI, including attending all ARD’s for after hours and students receiving pregnancy services.
3. Assist in updating the IEP for each student receiving long-term homebound.
4. Coordinate state assessments for students receiving homebound services.
5. Keep abreast of changes in student attendance accounting.
6. Maintain accurate and complete homebound services records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulations.
7. Implement by instruction and action the district’s philosophy of education, goals and objectives.
8. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with families and other CFISD staff.
9. Acquire professional growth through attending workshops, seminars, conferences, reading professional materials and/or obtaining course work at institutes of higher learning.
10. Confers with the counselors concerning newly referred student’s admission to the program as well as the student’s re-entrance to the campus classroom.
11. Serves on the ARD committee.
