Job Title: RN – Wound Care
Location: New York, NY
Local Pay: $70–$80/hr
Travel Pay: $80–$90/hr
Schedule: 4 days/week (10-hour shifts), every other weekend
Duration: 14 weeks (extension possible)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Wound Care Candidate for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Provide wound, ostomy, and continence care
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor and document treatment outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Implement pressure injury prevention strategies
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Requirements
- 2+ years Med-Surg nursing experience
- Experience in wound and ostomy care
- Active NY RN license
- BLS certification
- One wound care certification (CWOCN, CWON, CWCN, CWS, or WCC)
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
