Asphalt Striper / Pavement Marking Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Striper to perform layout and pavement marking work on asphalt surfaces following paving operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately installing traffic markings, parking lot striping, ADA-compliant markings, stencils, wheel stops, and related pavement marking items while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Layout and install parking lot striping, curb markings, and pavement markings.
- Measure and mark parking stalls, fire lanes, ADA spaces, loading zones, and traffic flow patterns.
- Apply paint, thermoplastic, and other pavement marking materials according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret site plans, striping layouts, and work orders.
- Operate and maintain striping equipment, paint machines, blowers, and related tools.
- Perform re-stripe work on newly paved asphalt surfaces and existing parking lots.
- Install wheel stops, signs, bollards, and traffic control devices as needed.
- Ensure all striping meets local, state, and ADA requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Complete daily reports and document completed work with photos.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently with paving and sealcoat crews to meet project schedules.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in parking lot striping or pavement marking required.
- Ability to read measuring tapes and layout plans.
- Knowledge of ADA parking requirements preferred.
- Experience operating striping equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: Depending on Experience (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
