We are currently prioritizing candidates with open availability, including weekdays, weekday daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do
Crew Members:
- Welcome every guest and provide friendly, memorable service
- Scoop ice cream according to portion standards
- Prepare sundaes, shakes, cookies, waffle cones, cakes and other menu items
- Learn our flavors and help guests discover new favorites
- Operate the register and accurately handle customer transactions
- Keep the shop clean and inviting, including counters, dishes, equipment, and the dining area
- Restock supplies and complete opening or closing duties
- Help prepare for and serve at catering events, including workplace socials, weddings, and birthday parties
Shift Leaders perform all Crew Member responsibilities, plus:
- Lead by example and help create a positive, productive shift
- Coach team members, delegate tasks, and keep service running smoothly
- Be able to work independently or with others
- Handle cash-management responsibilities and complete shift checklists
- Monitor inventory, restock products, and rotate supplies
- Resolve customer or operational issues calmly and professionally
- Help maintain food-safety, cleanliness, and service standards
What We’re Looking For
- At least 18 years old
- Friendly, dependable, organized, and enthusiastic about making others smile
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to remain positive and productive during busy periods
- Comfortable working independently when needed
- Reliable transportation to our Plano location
- A valid driver’s license is preferred because some catering shifts may involve transporting supplies
- Previous leadership experience is preferred for Shift Leader applicants
Availability
- Open availability is strongly preferred
- Weekday daytime availability during the school year is especially important
- Applicants should be available for a combination of daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Candidates with the greatest scheduling flexibility will receive priority consideration
Physical Requirements
- Remain on your feet for most of the shift
- Occasionally lift and carry up to approximately 25 pounds
- Work around freezers and in both cold and warm environments
- Perform frequent reaching, bending, cleaning, and repetitive hand movements
Pay and Additional Earnings
- Base wage: $9.00/hour
- Guaranteed minimum total earnings: $11.00/hour
- Most team members earn approximately $14.00–$16.00/hour after tips and incentives
- Additional earnings may include credit-card tips, cash tips, sales incentives, bonuses, and catering gratuities
- Catering gratuities are commonly $20–$100 per event
Actual earnings above the $11/hour guarantee vary based on shift, customer traffic, tips, incentives, and catering opportunities.
