Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic school team in Olympia, WA. This is an in-person, full-time school-based OT position working with students across a wide age range, from Kindergarten through 22 years old. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced school-based OTs and new graduate Occupational Therapists looking to gain hands-on pediatrics experience in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45–50 students
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Deliver interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License required
- Must hold or be eligible for a Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate OTs welcome to apply
