Role Summary
You will support the Director of Finance in enhancing the processes that will underpin the growth of the business. This is a broad, hands-on role and provide end-to-end Finance Support to the business.
Role Accountabilities
- Overseeing the group accounts payable function.

Reviewing aged debtors and debt escalation.

End of month journals.
-
Month end balance sheet reconciliations.

Reconciliation of company credit cards.

Regular bank reconciliations.

Review and management of bank account balances across the group.

Tracking and invoicing of inter group management charges.

Management of the inter-company loan accounts.

Working with accountants to provide schedules for year-end accounts and corporation tax.

Preparing year-end financial statements.

Process and controls development.
- Use formal reporting mechanisms, as defined by Risk and Compliance or Internal Audit, to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new risks or failures of existing control measures.

Any additional duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

7-10 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience working within fast growing, financial services companies

Experience within groups’ of companies as well as strong team management experience

System implementation experience is preferred but not essential
Skills and Abilities
- Strong relationship-building, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business and influence senior management and wider stakeholders.

Strong planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload against tight deadlines.
