Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The Machinist 1 supports machining operations by assisting with basic machine tasks, material handling, and equipment operation under close supervision. This role focuses on developing foundational machining knowledge, safety practices, and measurement accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assist in safe operation of saws and basic machining equipment
- Identify and verify raw materials
- Use basic measurement tools such as a digital and vernier calipers
- Support loading and uploading of materials and tools
- Complete work orders and basic routing documentation accurately
- follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Less tan 3 years of machining or related experience
- Basic math skills, including fractions, and decimal conversion
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality
- Must be safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Pay: $18.00 - $24.90 per hour
