Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role serving students from preschool through 12th grade as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. With two openings available, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference supporting children’s communication skills in a dynamic school setting. One position focuses on a K-12 caseload, while the other is dedicated to preschoolers, allowing you to match your passion and expertise to the age group you serve best.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in team-based decision making
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Enjoy a consistent schedule with 40 hours per week across five days, supporting either preschoolers or K-12 students depending on your assignment.
