Overview
Join our dynamic cannabis cultivation facility as a Custodian, where your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and efficient environment. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility are spotless, well-maintained, and compliant with industry standards. Your proactive approach will support the cultivation team by providing a clean and organized workspace that promotes optimal plant growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of cultivation areas, including grow rooms, trimming stations, and processing zones
- Conduct janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal to uphold high standards of hygiene
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and routine care to ensure safety and cleanliness in all workspaces
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment for large-scale facilities
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, flooring, or equipment to ensure continuous operational flow
- Assist with general custodial duties during shift changes or special cleaning projects to keep the environment organized and compliant
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a secure workplace
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or industrial settings
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and industrial cleaning equipment
