Position: Hotel Housekeeping Attendant

The Francis Inn & Suites 205 S Union, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, 19348 – secondary location
Start date: Immediate
Compensation: $17 per hour + Holiday Pay + health benefits stipend
Role Overview: The Housekeeping Attendant will primarily be responsible for the daily cleaning of the hotel rooms, common areas, and storeroom along with the washing, drying, and organizing of the laundry room utilizing industrial washing machines. We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude. This person is a multitasker who takes pride in their work. This role will be reporting to and working alongside the hotel General Manager.

Artelo and The Francis are completely contactless and does not have a physical front desk. Guests are emailed a room key and check in and out electronically.

Responsibilities: While serving as a Housekeeping Associate, key responsibilities include the following:
· Turning rooms – daily
o Replace dirty towels and linen
o Replace comforter
o Bathroom – tile, flooring, disinfect all surfacing including shower doors, vanity mirror, backsplash, fill shampoos and hand soaps, replace toilet paper, replace towels
o Bedroom – linens, mop floor, wipe windows, disinfect all hard surfaces, wipe lampshades, replace note pads, check minibar, open curtains, wipe tv, clean out refrigerator, spot tv remote and all other in room amenities
· Laundry – daily
· Receiving deliveries, stocking shelves - as needed
· Sweep parking lot – as needed
· Wipe outside banisters, railing, and wood slot walls, clean outside windows – as needed
· Sweep staircase – as needed
· Clean trash area – as needed
· Sweet and mop basement – as needed
· Clean washing machine – as needed
· Clean ice machine – as needed
· Other tasks assigned by the General Manager – as needed
Schedule subject to change based on business needs:
Rotating Monday through Sunday with a heavy focus on the weekends - 10am – 6pm

Other Requirements
· 3+ years’ experience in hotel housekeeping or 5+ years in a related field
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with guests and co-workers
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Must have references from 2 previous managers
· Must pass a background check
· Must be able to legally work in the U.S. without sponsorship
· Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds and spend over 8 hours daily standing or walking.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
