We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our dynamic team at Geisha Sushi with a Flair in Prairieville. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dining area, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting servers, cleaning tables, and preparing the restaurant for service.
Duties
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and surfaces.
- Help with food service by delivering dishes to tables when needed.
- Ensure that all utensils, glassware, and dishes are clean and properly stocked.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness in the food preparation area.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Willingness to help others and take on various tasks as needed.
- Basic knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus.
