Duties
- Receive and unload inbound shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Verify incoming goods against shipping documents using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Accurately stock products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval
- Prepare items for order picking by organizing stock for efficient picking & packing processes
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch in accordance with customer orders
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and updates in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Support shipping & receiving activities by loading/unloading trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers following safety guidelines and training standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and stock replenishment
- Assist with packaging tasks to ensure products are securely prepared for shipment, minimizing damage during transit
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one; experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a plus
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to load & unload shipments efficiently while following safety procedures
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and operate equipment throughout shifts
- Experience with e-commerce order processing or picking & packing is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
