About the Role
The Sales Manager is a key leader responsible for building, coaching, and managing a high-performing sales team and for the systems, processes, and reporting that support it. The role is primarily a leadership and management position: the Sales Manager is responsible for development and performance of the sales organization, in coordination with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Drive team performance through consistent training, accountability, and skill development.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development of new sales team members.
- Foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and customer excellence within the sales organization.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy and annual growth plan.
- Partner with the operations team to align sales activity with service capacity and profitability goals.
- Work with the marketing team to align marketing and sales activities and strengthen brand awareness.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Develop and manage key performance indicator (KPI) reporting for sales activities, providing actionable insights to company executives.
- Maintain ownership of the company CRM platform, ensuring accurate pipeline management and data integrity across all representatives.
- Provide sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership on a consistent basis.
Account Oversight
- Oversee the team’s management of customer relationships, renewals, and retention across accounts assigned by the company.
- Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction and service quality across the existing customer base.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading or managing sales professionals.
- Proven track record of building and developing successful sales teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
