American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Room position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, with a Monday–Wednesday regular schedule and weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Room (ED)

Shift runs 11:00–23:00 (evenings)

Regular schedule is Monday through Wednesday each week

Weekend and holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis

13-week contract

Active IA or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Current PALS certification required; Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) is also acceptable

TNCC certification required

NIHSS certification required

COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Local candidates are accepted at a local rate for RNs based in IA (as well as several other states)

License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred where available
