Multi-Site Maintenance Technician – Charlotte, NC
Miramar Capital’s in-house management division, Reliance Management Solutions (“RMS”), is a rapidly growing, institutional property management firm focused primarily on rental townhome communities in Tennessee and the Carolinas. We are seeking an experienced Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across three Build-to-Rent townhome communities in the Charlotte market.
This role supports both stabilized and lease-up communities and is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining high-quality homes while delivering exceptional resident service and supporting occupancy growth.
Position Summary
The Multi-Site Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing service requests, unit turns, preventative maintenance, warranty repair coordination, and maintaining curb appeal across multiple townhome communities. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, technically skilled, and committed to providing exceptional customer service to residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests and resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs.
- Prepare vacant homes for new move-ins, including unit turns and quality inspections.
- Coordinate and track warranty repairs with contractors and vendors.
- Maintain strong curb appeal and community standards.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, and building systems.
- Work closely with the property management team to support leasing efforts and resident retention.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain inventory, tools, and supplies.
- Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive resident relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
- HVAC Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general maintenance.
- Experience with lease-up communities preferred.
- Experience coordinating warranty work and vendor follow-up preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities across multiple communities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
