Job Summary

You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. We have Wednesday and Thursday shifts available with the potential to pick up more as the summer goes.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Support the staff by providing clean dishes and utensils for service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds from the floor to the table.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving roles.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and hospitality excellence is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
