Russellville Dental Lab is looking for a full-time Removables Dental Technician who wants more than a short-term job. We are looking for someone interested in building a career, developing valuable technical skills, and advancing steadily as their abilities grow.
Prior dental laboratory or other dental experience is strongly preferred. However, we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, reliability, and a genuine desire to learn.
What You’ll Do
As a Removables Dental Technician, you will help produce high-quality removable dental restorations and appliances according to dental prescriptions, established procedures, and quality standards.
Depending on your experience and training, your work may include:
- Preparing models and components used in removable cases
- Denture tooth setup and wax-up
- Processing and finishing dentures and removable partials
- Completing repairs, relines, and related laboratory procedures
- Using dental materials, tools, and equipment safely and correctly
- Inspecting your work at established quality checkpoints
- Maintaining accurate case information and production status
- Meeting expectations for quality, productivity, and on-time completion
- Participating in structured training, cross-training, and skills development
Technicians perform only the processes for which they have been trained and demonstrated competency. As your skills grow, you can qualify for additional responsibilities and advancement.
What We’re Looking For
The strongest candidate will have:
- Prior dental laboratory, dental assisting, dental office, or related dental experience
- Prior removable dental technology experience, which is strongly preferred
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to fine detail
- The ability to follow precise instructions and repeat detailed processes consistently
- Dependable attendance and a strong work history
- A willingness to receive feedback and continue learning
- Pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- An interest in developing a long-term career with steady advancement
Formal dental technology training is helpful but not required. We will consider candidates without direct laboratory experience when they demonstrate the aptitude, work ethic, and commitment needed to succeed.
Pay and Schedule
- Starting pay is $17 per hour
- Higher starting pay may be offered to candidates with prior demonstrable dental laboratory or relevant dental technology experience
- Full-time, hourly position
- Monday through Friday
- Daytime schedule
- Based at Russellville Dental Lab in Russellville, Kentucky
