Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating travel, issuing official correspondence, managing calendars, and performing a variety of other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel arrangements for senior management and staff, including booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services.
- Prepare and issue official correspondence, including letters, memos, and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Manage calendars for senior management and staff, scheduling appointments, meetings, and other events as needed.
- Answer and screen phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel and providing information as needed.
- Maintain files and records, ensuring that documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing documents, as well as ordering office supplies and equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
