Los Altos–Mountain View Children’s Corner is a non-profit, NAEYC-accredited preschool dedicated to nurturing every child’s natural curiosity and love of learning. Our play-based, developmentally appropriate program balances structure and exploration, helping children build confidence, creativity, and independence. Student-to-teacher ratio: 5:1
Position Summary
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our 3- and 4-year-old program. The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, and passionate about creating a safe, joyful, and engaging classroom environment.
Schedule
- Part-time, 23.75-24 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 1:15 pm
- Includes, monthly staff meetings, and participation in school events
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $22–$26 (based on education and experience)

Qualifications
- AA degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Minimum 12 semester (18 quarter) ECE units – Teacher Qualified
- At least 1 year of classroom experience
- California Child Development Teacher Permit or willingness to apply
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent observation, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills
- Flexible, creative, and proactive “team player” attitude
- Physically able to meet the demands of working with young children
