Ally 4 Pets, LLC is looking for dependable, caring individuals to join our growing pet care team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, values reliability, and is available during the middle of the day when most dog walking visits take place.
Our team provides professional in-home pet care and dog walking services while building long-term relationships with both pets and their owners.
What You'll Do
As a Midday Dog Walker & Pet Sitter, you will:
- Visit clients' homes for scheduled dog walks and pet care visits
- Walk dogs safely and provide exercise based on each pet's needs
- Feed pets, refresh water, administer basic care, and provide companionship
- Follow individualized care instructions using our mobile app
- Send visit updates, photos, and notes after each appointment
- Ensure clients' homes are left secure according to their instructions
- Represent Ally 4 Pets with professionalism and excellent customer service
Schedule
This role is centered around midday dog walking, so weekday daytime availability is essential.
Applicants should be available:
- At least 3 days per week
- Primarily between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, when most dog walking visits occur
- Two weekends each month
- Major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day, and Labor Day
Additional morning, evening, or vacation pet sitting visits may also be available based on client demand.
Compensation
- Typical earnings range from $15-$30 per hour, depending on visit type and schedule
- Visits completed from the 1st-15th
- Visits completed from the 16th through the end of the month
- Payments are generally issued within three business days after each pay period closes
Required qualifications:
- At least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, insured, and registered vehicle
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Comfortable using scheduling and communication apps
- Prompt communication by phone, text, and email
- Familiarity with the local service area
- Professional references
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
- Willingness to complete online Pet First Aid & CPR training (provided)
- Ability to commit to the position for at least six months
- Not currently providing pet sitting or dog walking services independently or for another company
