We are hiring for TWO schedule options. Apply for the Morning Position, Afternoon/Evening Position, or BOTH.
A warm San Francisco family is looking for a reliable, engaging nanny and family assistant to support their infant and toddler.
Candidates may apply for the Morning Position, the Afternoon/Evening Position, or BOTH.
The family needs care on three consistent weekdays selected from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Final working days will be agreed upon with the selected candidate and will remain consistent week to week.
Option 1: Morning Position
7:00 AM–10:00 AM
3 consistent weekdays, Monday–Thursday
9 guaranteed hours/week
The morning nanny will help the family get the children ready and out the door while keeping mornings calm, organized, and on schedule.
Responsibilities may include:
- Morning routines, dressing, and breakfast
- Preparing bottles, snacks, and school/daycare items
- School/daycare drop-offs
- Cleaning up after breakfast
- Bottles and children's dishes
- Children's laundry and organization
- Preparing children's food or supplies for later in the day
- Light child-related household resetting
Option 2: Afternoon/Evening Position
3:30 PM–8:30 PM
3 consistent weekdays, Monday–Thursday
15 guaranteed hours/week
The afternoon/evening nanny will help with household preparation before pickups and then transition into childcare, dinner, and evening routines.
Responsibilities may include:
- School and daycare pickups
- Safely transporting the children around San Francisco
- Infant and toddler care
- Preparing simple meals and snacks
- Dinner and evening routines
- Play, books, and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting toddler independence, transitions, and emotional regulation
- Children's/family laundry and organization as time permits
- Light family-assistant support and household resetting

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Experienced working professionally with toddlers
- Comfortable providing infant care
- Exceptionally reliable and punctual
- A safe, confident driver comfortable driving in San Francisco
- Warm, patient, playful, and emotionally attuned
- Organized and able to manage routines efficiently
- Proactive and comfortable noticing what needs to be done
- Able to maintain kind, consistent boundaries
- Comfortable working collaboratively with parents
- Comfortable balancing childcare with light family-assistant responsibilities
- Pet-friendly; the family has a spaniel
- Non-smoking/non-vaping
Current CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or must be obtained.
Mandarin language skills are a bonus but are not required.
