American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an evening shift position in a hospital-based CT department performing a high volume of multi-phase and stroke imaging studies.

Hospital-based CT department within a 244-licensed-bed facility offering X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine with Radiology Nursing support

The facility holds TJC Stroke accreditation and has no trauma designation
-
CT department serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations, averaging 68 studies per day
-
Department performs CT-guided invasive procedures and anesthesia cases as needed; cardiac CT imaging is not performed
-
Equipment includes 2 CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 64 and GE VCT 64) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors

EMR is Epic with Epic Radiant RIS; PACS is Philips iSite
-
TeraRecon knowledge is preferred but not required

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM on 8-hour evening shifts at 40 hours per week

Weekend call coverage is required, approximately 2 shifts every 5 weeks

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays

No floating required

Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with most recent experience within the last year
-
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
-
Active license required if applicable

BLS certification required

Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs
-
Experience with venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion, and colorectal studies

Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility

Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) followed by 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed

Guest Services and Transport support is available for inpatient and observation patients

RTO is subject to manager approval

Scrub color required is black
