Responsible for immediately assessing each individual patient upon admission to OR addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, discharge planning factors and significant other/family support as appropriate.
Assesses and reassess patients on an ongoing basis, identifying patient needs/problems, nursing interventions. Develops individualized plans of nursing care for patients in the perioperative setting and which meets the identified needs of each patient
Education/Certifications:

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing.

Current unencumbered North Carolina RN License.

BLS certification upon hire
-
ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

NCI certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience:

One-two years of clinical experience in perioperative nursing preferred.
