Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our vibrant emergency dental practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to treatment coordination. We provide emergency dental services by alleviating pain and providing same day services. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming environment, while your attention to detail and organizational skills will support efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service, including answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using Curve Dental.
- Verify insurance coverage, explain treatment plans, and assist patients with financial arrangements.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate care plans and facilitate smooth communication between patients and providers.
- Utilize computer skills to update and maintain patient health records and manage health information tasks.
- Handle patient check-in and check-out, collecting insurance information and payments.
Qualifications
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential for this position
- Proven experience in a dental or medical office setting.
- Familiarity with dental coding, insurance verification, and Medicaid guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities.
- Strong clerical skills including typing, data entry, and handling dental records.
- Previous clinic experience in a healthcare setting is desirable; dental clinic experience is a plus. But, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Shift hours: Monday thru Friday 3:00pm to 9:00pm.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
