We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and team-oriented Experienced Lead Veterinary Receptionist to help guide our front-desk team and create an exceptional experience for every client and patient who enters our hospital. (Must have VETERINARY experience.)

The Lead Veterinary Receptionist will serve as a trusted resource for our client service team while remaining actively involved in daily front-desk responsibilities. This position is ideal for an experienced veterinary receptionist who enjoys helping people, supporting coworkers, improving workflows, and staying calm and organized in a busy veterinary environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answering phones, responding to client questions, and directing concerns appropriately
- Scheduling appointments based on patient needs and hospital protocols
- Reviewing services, procedures, treatment plans, estimates, and pricing with clients
- Coordinating client communications, reminders, follow-up calls, and new-client outreach
- Maintaining accurate client and patient information in ezyVet
- Using AllyDVM to support client communication, reminders, follow-up, and engagement
- Organizing front-desk coverage and helping manage daily workflow
- Leading, training, coaching, and supporting reception team members
- Assisting with onboarding and evaluating new reception employees
- Reinforcing reception procedures, communication standards, and written SOPs
- Helping resolve routine client concerns and escalating sensitive matters appropriately
- Communicating effectively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and leadership
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and the overall client experience
- Supporting additional administrative and hospital projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- At least three years of previous veterinary receptionist experience
- Previous experience leading teams
- Supervisory or management experience
- Strong veterinary client-service knowledge
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Confidence discussing treatment plans, estimates, services, and scheduling needs
- Strong computer and telephone skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining accurate and composed
- Reliability, honesty, initiative, and sound judgment
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the entire hospital team
- Professionalism and compassion when assisting clients during stressful or emotional situations
Experience with ezyVet and AllyDVM is strongly preferred.

Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
