Fuel the Future- Prepare meals, build connections, and inspire inner city youth
Assist in the preparation and presentation of quality meals and beverages
Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with students
Transport prepared meals from kitchen to serving line and keep stations stocked
Perform kitchen clean-up, including washing dishes and sanitizing food preparation and service areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food service areas in accordance with health and safety standards
Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality completion of assigned tasks
Follow established attendance, accountability, and productivity standards
Plan, prioritize, and organize daily responsibilities to meet deadlines
Apply job knowledge effectively and proactively maintain required skills
Mentor and model Career Success Standards in accordance with PRH guidelines
Provide appropriate supervision of students, promoting positive behavior and accountability
Collaborate with staff across departments to support student services and center operations
Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Identify issues, evaluate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution
Follow direction from Center leadership, including temporary cross-department assignments
May supervise and train Job Corps Work-Based Learning students
Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced education preferred
Previous food service experience preferred
Ability to obtain ServSafe certification
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with young adults in a structured environment
Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds or assess when assistance is needed
