Job Summary
General cleaning to include, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash bins,polishing of surfaces, mopping of areas required.
Main Responsibilities To carry out general cleaning duties to the agreed standards and work schedules provided including:
* -To ensure a high quality service is provided at all time ensuring customer satisfaction
* -The observation of health and safety guidelines at all times is a critical element of the role
* -To report any concerns or issues to the supervisor immediately for action e.g. broken equipment
* -Ensure that the required cleaning checklist system is used
* -Ensure that all duties are completed in the time provided to a high standard
*-You must be a teamplayer, when your job is finished you are required to help your teammates
* - To sweep, wet mop and floor polish designated areas
* - To vacuum, dust, polish furniture, fixtures ect. (this may include light fixtures, blinds etc.)
* - To clean outside areas, porches, decks, outside showers
* - To wash walls as required
* - To replenish towels, soap and toilet rolls as and when required
* - To high dust (with high dusting tool) all areas out of normal reach
* - To daily clean all sanitary appliances, fittings and areas
* - To empty waste bins into waste bags and carry these to collection points and to wash andre-line bins as and when required
*-To ensure all safety precautions are taken. To ensure the safe use of all equipment and safety precaution times at all times
*-To maintain all equipment to be of a clean condition
*-To report all faults to the supervisor
*-To participate in all training relevant and as required
*-Being responsible for finding a substitute for your shift if you cannot come to work
*-To provide cover for colleagues as may be occasionally required (coming in to work even if it is your day off)
*-To promote and comply with company policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and materials. (Training will be provided in the use of more sophisticated equipment and Health and Safety matters)
Please only apply if you have reliable transportation, a working smartphone, are able to arrive on time daily and pass a background check with no felony convictions. These are required for this position.
Fit to carry out cleaning duties including bending, walking, pushing, lifting and handling equipment
*Must be able to move light furniture and lift Hoover Backpack Vacuums and Upright Vacuums and carry supplies up and down multiple flights of stairs*
Possess good communication skills including understanding/accepting instruction
If you are hired you will be working every Saturday and possibly Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. And other weekly work will be offered. This is an on-call business and cleaning requests come in at all hours of the day. Due to the nature of the business we cannot allow for employees to call off at the last minute, therefore employees are responsible for getting their shifts covered.
