CLTS Mentor, Skills Worker, & Respite Provider
Part-Time , On-Call, As Needed, Casual Part-time

About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and creative mentors, skills workers, and respite providers to support children and families in the Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program.
This position focuses on helping children and youth build independent living skills, social-emotional growth, and community engagement through positive, strength-based activities. This is a part time position and hours will vary, please read the entire job description carefully.
Support may include (but is not limited to):
- Mentoring and skill development
- Supporting daily living and social skills
- Encouraging creative expression through art, music, yoga, sports, and play, and more
- Working toward individualized goals
- Providing safe and supportive respite care for families
- Yoga and Wellness
- Nutrition and fitness
- Nature exposure

Position Details
- Part-Time & Flexible: Primarily after-school hours, evenings, and some weekends
- Hours Vary: Work depends on referrals — some weeks may be just a few hours, and other weeks up to 20. If there are no current clients, hours pause until new referrals come in. This is a casual, flexible position that adapts as clients’ needs arise, best suited for someone who is looking for supplemental and casual income.
- Respite Opportunities: May include short shifts or overnight care
- Pay: Starting at $18/hr
- Respite rates vary depending on the level of care and client needs
- Requirements: Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record and car insurance
Ideal Candidates
- Passionate about supporting children and youth with diverse needs
- Prefer experience working with youth who have developmental, behavioral, or mental health diagnoses, and who may come from challenging backgrounds
- Responsible, dependable, and engaging
- Experience in education, mental health, caregiving, art, yoga, or recreation is a plus
- Must pass a background check
