This role combines technical HVAC knowledge with customer communication and sales opportunity. You’ll diagnose system issues, educate homeowners, provide repair and replacement options, and help customers make confident decisions for their home and family.

Position Summary
This position is ideal for technicians with some residential experience and strong customer communication skills. As a Selling HVAC Tech, you’ll diagnose problems, present multi-option solutions, and guide homeowners toward smart repair or replacement decisions. You’ll be trained to master the close — and get paid like a top producer.
We’ll train the right candidate technically, but some HVAC or residential service experience is required.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Run HVAC service and sales calls
- Diagnose and offer multi-option recommendations to resolve customer concerns
- Guide homeowners through repair vs. replacement decisions with confidence and clarity
- Communicate system needs, pricing, and timelines transparently
- Prepare and present estimates, and close the deal
- Follow up on open leads and build long-term customer trust
- Stay educated on HVAC systems, options, and best practices
- Use company CRM and software to document all jobs, quotes, and communications
- Collaborate with your team to hit KPIs and raise the bar for customer experience
What You Bring
- Strong sales instincts or proven closing ability in service-based roles
- Comfort diagnosing or explaining HVAC system needs
- At least 1 year of residential HVAC or equivalent technical experience
- Confidence with numbers, estimates, and customer decision-making
- Positive attitude, hungry to learn, and eager to earn
- Clean driving record and valid license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Schedule
- Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
- On-Call Rotation (After-hours service calls)
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, bending, and working in small crawl spaces or elevated locations
- Must be comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures, including heat and cold
- Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Tolerance for occasional loud or distracting noise levels
- Ability to perform physical tasks that require fine motor skills, upper/lower body strength, and full range of motion
