Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to throughout their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, checking back frequently to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Assist with cleaning and resetting tables between guests to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others and provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
