Maintenance Technician – Subway Restaurants
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the operational efficiency, safety, and appearance of multiple Subway restaurant locations. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, light repairs, equipment upkeep, and coordination with external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance & Equipment Care
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on bread ovens and speed ovens
- Clean and maintain ice machines, including troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Replace water filters and diagnose ice machine issues
- Inspect and maintain HVAC filters and vents
- Change air filters regularly with a location
Repairs & Facility Maintenance
- Perform light plumbing repairs
- Replace capacitors and light switch covers
- Conduct minor low-voltage wiring tasks
- Touch-up painting
- Dust vents and filters
- Assemble furniture and fixtures for new and remodeled locations
Exterior Maintenance
- Pressure wash parking lots and sidewalks
- Light Parking lot striping
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate refrigeration service calls
- Be onsite during vendor visits to observe and learn
General Duties
- Travel between locations
- Maintain tools and vehicle
- Follow safety procedures
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- Lift up to 300 lbs occasionally (team lift)
- Use ladders and work at heights
- Crawl, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
Qualifications
- Maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical knowledge
- Low-voltage wiring experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass a background

Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
