Luna Park in Coney Island, a leading destination in the amusement park industry, is seeking a highly motivated full-time Ride Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics with the ability to diagnose Issues, repair and maintain complex machinery. This position will perform maintenance work within their area of expertise following manufacturer instructions, amusement industry safety, and labor safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop Ride Maintenance team and increase productivity through team members training, development and coaching while adhering to Company policies.
- Assist in procuring needed parts, materials supply, and third-party services related to maintenance.
- Coordinate and perform all maintenance activities, such as preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and test amusement devices, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Keeping accurate and complete records, as well as updating work orders and spare part consumption via the CMMS system.
- Keep work order records, reports, projects, service bulletins, and certificates organized and updated.
- Root cause analysis to troubleshoot and eliminate primary causes of downtime.
- Control and maintain the workshop, equipment, and tools, which should be clean and well organized.
- Assist Maintenance Management on special projects, coordinating all parties involved with projects; scheduling and executing projects on schedule and within budget.
- Periodically review emergency procedures and participate in emergency evacuation drills in coordination with other departments.
- Ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations.
- Perform Maintenance Duty Manager functions, including but not limited to ensuring proper team member coordination, productivity, safety, quality of work, and cleanliness.
- Perform other duties as requested by Maintenance Management and assist in all other critical needs of the Company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligible to work in the US
- Three plus (3+) years of work experience in the mechanical maintenance field, advanced troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
- High-School Diploma or GED. Mechanical engineering courses are a plus.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial systems (bearings, drives, gearboxes, lifts, chains, belts, motors, and pumps) is a must.
- Familiarity with labor and industrial safety codes and regulations preferred (OSHA, NEC, ASTM, etc.).
- Preferred experience using both Metric and Standard systems of measurement.
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding.
- AIMS or NAARSO certifications are a plus.
- Experience or certification with industrial equipment, such as forklifts, telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers, etc., is a plus.
- Driver’s license.
- Due to the nature of the amusement park business, candidates must have the flexibility to be available for work on weekdays, weekends, holidays (in season), early mornings, and late evenings.

Pay: $66,300.00 - $75,000.00 per year
