Overview
The Mission College Program Navigator provides project-based support for the implementation of the Rising Scholars Regional Joint Venture initiative focused on justice-involved students. This position assists with coordination, communication, and tracking of activities across multiple community colleges and regional partners to support alignment of grant deliverables. The role is designed to support regional collaboration and project implementation rather than direct program ownership. This is a grant-funded, part-time, time-limited position aligned with project goals and reporting requirements. Note: Job site will be in a correctional facility.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
Regional Collaboration & Coordination (60%)
- Assist with coordination and communication across participating colleges within the regional collaborative
- Support alignment of project timelines, deliverables, and shared outcomes across institutions
- Track and document regional activities, milestones, and progress toward grant objectives
- Participate in regional meetings and support follow-up actions, documentation, and communication
- Serve as a coordination support point to facilitate information sharing among partner colleges and stakeholders
Data & Reporting Support (20%)
- Assist in compiling and organizing program data to support required grant reporting
- Help track participation, activities, and outcomes across multiple sites
- Support development of summaries, updates, and reports for regional stakeholders
- Assist with coordination of surveys, feedback collection, and documentation of project outcomes
Partnership & Engagement Support (15%)
- Provide logistical and coordination support for partner meetings, events, and collaborative activities
- Assist with tracking partnership engagement and regional collaboration efforts
- Support documentation of partnership activities and opportunities aligned with project goals
Program Support (5%)
- Provide limited support for student engagement activities as needed to support project coordination
- Assist with communication and coordination of program-related events across sites
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, counseling, social work, public administration, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience
Demonstrated experience coordinating programs, projects, or services in educational, community-based, workforce development, or human services settings. Experience working with diverse populations, including justice-impacted individuals, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
