Unit Maintenance Engineer (Condo-Hotel Residences)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Unit Maintenance Engineer to maintain and service privately managed residences within luxury condo-hotel properties. This role ensures each unit remains guest-ready through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and efficient troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.
Hotel, resort, or condo-hotel engineering experience preferred.
Primary ResponsibilitiesHVAC & Mechanical
- Perform preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems
- Replace filters, clear drain lines, and monitor performance
- Diagnose cooling issues and coordinate major repairs when needed
Plumbing & Leak Response
- Identify and assess water leaks and moisture issues
- Perform minor plumbing repairs (fixtures, drains, toilets)
- Coordinate licensed contractors for major plumbing work
General Unit Maintenance
- Grout, caulking, and sealant repairs
- Interior painting and drywall repair
- Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Replace fixtures, outlets, switches, and lighting
- Repair cabinetry, doors, and hardware
Preventative Maintenance & Inspections
- Conduct routine inspections to prevent future issues
- Ensure units remain in excellent guest-ready condition
- Maintain maintenance logs and report recurring issues
Guest & Property Coordination
- Work efficiently and discreetly in occupied residences
- Coordinate access with guest services, housekeeping, and management
- Minimize disruption to guests and operations
Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety procedures and property protocols
- Identify hazards and report issues promptly
Required Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance, engineering, or facilities work
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance
- Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform painting, drywall, and finish work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders
Preferred Qualifications
- Hotel, resort, or condo-hotel engineering experience
- EPA HVAC certification
- Experience working in luxury or guest-facing environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
