Job Overview:
Finelli Pizzeria in Ellsworth is hiring for the position of Team Member / Pizza Maker! We are willing to teach our New York Style pizza making technique and menu. Come join and fun and busy work environment! Compensation includes base wage + tips for a strong hourly rate.
ServSafe Certification not necessary but welcomed.
Job Types: Part-time and Full-time
Duties:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Work efficiently and effectively to complete customer orders.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and focus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
